FRIENDS

Pool is a hard guy to like. He'd be the first one to admit it. He's loud and nasty and is proud of that fact. So, if you can put up with that without getting your panties in a bunch- Pool will count you among his friends. If you're on his good side (which, let's face it, you can literally pay him to be on his good side), he'll fight for you tooth and nail. At least, until he gets a better offer.

ENEMIES

With a fuse that's way too short on a temper that's way too big, Pool has a lot of people who hate him. A life of dealing pain and breaking the law has gotten him on the wrong side of plenty of guns. He'd tell you that anyone he's called an "enemy" isn't for long. The implication being that Pool takes care of business before things go sour for him. But Pool is a lot of talk.

LOVERS

Convinced from an early age that he was ugly and no good, Pool has built up walls that keep people from getting too deep, especially in the ways of romance. He's had long term flings and regular stomping grounds, but anything more serious than that has never really seemed like a possibility. Being a man of the present keeps Pool from doing too much damage to a lady's heart… or his own.

I'm not really sure where Karina could fall with Pool, but I'm always open to figuring out new plots.

KARINA

She would certainly be of no threat to Pool, at least in his mind. And she might even be a bit young for him, though that wouldn't stop him from staring.

Eventually, if they got to know each other, Pool may kind of view her as a bit of a little sister. But he's not the caring older brother type. More like the buy you booze and kick the shit out of whoever you told him to type.

Plus, he's got a fondness for redheads.

I like it, lol. Karina isn't really the type to want a smothering brother figure in her life. But having someone who cared enough to beat up people who made her mad . That's almost true love!

[William Breene]

As we discussed and for the public record: Breene and Poole are old prison buddies. As Poole was on his way out of a brief stint, they rode the same broken down Alliance prison transport. They both had to contend with the same prison gang and crooked guards. They had each other's backs and came out alive and without too many new shiv scars. Poole will end up being Will's connection to getting a job on the huntress.
