CHARLES WALKER
AGE: 30
GENDER: Male
NICKNAMES: *optional
MEMBER GROUP: Alliance
BRIEF HISTORY:
Captain Walker was born on Osiris. His family was quite wealthy, and as a child he had every luxury. A great education, a stable home life. Things were perfect. His father was in politics, and was a strong backer of the Alliance. It was due to his influence that Charles joined the military, after expressing no interest in politics.
For a long while his Military career was rather dull. He went to officer's academy, graduated with flying colors-- and before long was second in command on a large ship.
It wasn't until he was already a well ranked officer that the Unification war started. And it was a bloody war. The ship he was First officer on was ambushed by jury rigged freighters with heavy canons. The ship went down, with only a small portion of the crew able to make it to escape pods in time. They went down over Hera, and were immediately set upon by ground troops. Those who surrendered were taken prisoner, Walker included. He later escaped captivity, radio-ing the Alliance the position of the Browncoat camp.
After that first battle, First Officer Walker was promoted to Captain, and given his own ship. For the duration of the war, he commanded a heavily armed Alliance Patrol boat. He was part of the air strike on Serenity Valley.
After the war, he decided to resign his post Captaining a Patrol boat, preferring the smaller crew of a shirt range boat, and the more frequent opportunities to get off ship.

Heidi stood outside of the tent that Dora and Caius shared, fiddling nervously with the hem of her overly large shirt. Richard's shirt, actually. The button down was the last clean article of clothing between the two of them, and she'd snagged it with a smirk--pulling it on over her head triumphantly while he was away. Sure, her sort of husband might be annoyed later, but for now, what really mattered was that her clothing was loose fitting enough to be practical. Athenodora wasn't dumb, or unobservant, and what she needed to say was something she didn't want to be known until she was good and ready. Even Richard was unaware.
"Dora?" She called quietly, certain that Caius was not in the vicinity. "Hey, I need to talk to you." The huntress' voice was much more calm than she felt, her tenor completely neutral. There wasn't a hint of the terror she felt in her gut slipping into her perfectly formed words. It was all part of her usual charade.
Getting permission to enter the abode of Master Caius, and Mistress Athenodora (Heidi giggled at the mental image that came with that) the huntress poked her head through the door, a grin spreading across her face as she caught sight of her friend. Things between them had been slightly strained recently, as things had been with everyone in her life. Heidi hadn't been making an honest effort to pick up her end of the slack with anyone in her life, Dora included--and the realization hit her like a punch in the gut. "Hey." She greeted, almost shyly, moving to sit down on one of the plush pillows.
"Nice digs." The urgency of her reason for being here was forgotten, if just for a moment. And the huntress leaned across and hugged her blonde headed gal pal, suddenly uncharacteristically sentimental. "How are you?"
