ZOE WASHBURNE
AGE: 33
GENDER: Female
NICKNAMES: None except terms of endearment by Wash and only by Wash
MEMBER GROUP: Serenity Crew
BRIEF HISTORY:
Zoe Washburne was born February 15, 2484 as Zoe Alleyne. She was born "Vesselside" or aboard a ship. Zoe joined the military as soon as she was able to and by the time she fought in the Battle of Serenity Hill, she had reached the rank of Corporal. She served under Malcolm Reynolds and she and Mal were the only ones of their platoon to survive the battle. She fought against the Alliance.
Not long after the Unification War ended, she and Mal decided to get a ship and take on jobs, though she was rather wary of the ship he bought, Serenity, surprised that he was willing to pay for the ship. But she was even warier of the crew he hired, mostly their new pilot Hoban Washburne. She initially claimed that she was bothered by something about him, namely his moustache. But she soon fell in love with Wash and married him, though she insists that he never ever grow his moustache again. But she is loyal to the crew (including Jayne to a certain degree).

She is blunt and goes right to the point. Her humor is usually sarcastic and generally deadpanned. She has a very good pokerface and generally does not show her emotions.
She does love her husband dearly yet often wears the pants in their marriage. She is a bit Amazonian and certainly not fragile. She generally is highly rational and practical, preferring to think with her head and not her heart. Zoe is highly loyal and would do anything to keep her friends and loved ones safe, even going against Mal's orders occasionally.
WEAKNESSES: Her Husband: Zoe is highly protective of her husband and would be devastated should anything happen to him. She would willingly kill or die for him.
Her loyalty to Mal: Her loyalty to Mal is second only to that to her husband and she generally follows his orders, though usually no without expressing her concern or offering advice.
Gruff: She has no issues stepping on people's feelings or toes when pointing out when they're wrong.

Her fighting skills: Zoe was career military and is highly skilled in both armed and unarmed combat.
Cool, calm, and collected: It is nearly impossible to fluster Zoe or really surprise her.

RP SAMPLE
Zoe Washburne had seen many things in space but perhaps none was as strange as the sight that met her as she went to the galley. Her husband and the captain being civil towards one another, or rather Wash not going after Mal over the apparent "sexual tension" that she and Mal had. Even though she had hoped the scene after Niska tortured the two men. Yet here they were having an innocent seeming conversation.
She walked over to them, an eyebrow raised and a look that clearly said 'Someone better tell me what is going on or there will be hell to pay.' She stood between them and placed a hand on Wash's shoulder. "Husband, Captain, would of you two boys mind tellin' me what you two are up to?" They were both doing remarkably well at not breaking though Wash seemed about to squirm. She stared down at him. "Wash?" He muttered something unintelligible and she turned her gaze to Mal. "Sir?" He also muttered something, though his words were slightly more intelligible and she could make out something about plotting their course.
She looked back at Wash, who nodded in agreement with Mal, to which she responded by looking between them again and saying, "Uh-huh." She then shook her head and walked away, generally heading towards her bunk and purposefully swaying her hips, knowing that Wash would be watching, and she gave small smirk. She had ways of getting him to talk which she didn’t think he would mind at all. Plotting a course? No. Plotting something? Definitely. And she was going to find out what.
