{ IT'S IN THE WATER BABY }
IT'S IN THE PILLS THAT BRING YOU DOWN
BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS, TAP THE VEIN THAT BLEEDS
I'D BREAK THE BACK OF LOVE FOR YOU, I'D BREAK THE BACK OF LOVE FOR YOU

Hera - a relatively small planet population-wise, and one whose function was mainly agricultural. Despite its violent past, it was considered by many to be a fairly calm, quiet planet now. It had to be one of the last places Freya imagined her work would take her. Yet, here she was, wandering around on this tranquil little planet searching for any sign of the convict she had been informed was taking refuge here.
So far, she had next to nothing. The face and name given to her by the Alliance report were all the information that she had to go on. She had tried asking a few locals if they had seen or heard anything, but had made the mistake of flashing them her Alliance badge. Why did he have to pick Serenity View?
Serenity View, the town her target had been sighted in, was only a short distance away from Serenity Valley, the site of that final decisive battle that had taken place all those years ago. She had read about the Battle of Serenity Valley in text books, had seen a bit about on the news after it ended, but none of it had prepared her for the sight awaiting her as the ship she had been travelling aboard touched down. The land was scorched - blackened and desolate in a way that made it look like no life could ever touch there again. And it was by the Alliance's hand that this was done. She couldn't blame anyone living so close to a reminder of the Alliance's power and fury of being too hesitant or angry to want to talk to a fed.
I guess I'll just have to keep trying. She leaned against the side of the building she was standing next to - a house containing a friendly little family that had been quick to turn hostile when they had learned of her true business in the area. I should probably get out of here before they come after me with pitchforks or something. Grinning at the mental picture that conjured, she kicked off the house and headed back into the town.
