The Stuff of Nightmares
Plotting With Jasten
I'll go ahead and put something more detailed when I get more than an hour to do something. Until then, this should suffice long enough to keep both myself and any potential plotters satisfied! Hopefully. Anyways, here you go, my current two lovely characters. More are certainly to come, once a working computer that isn't a library can be procured!
Soryn Hawke
Thirty Six | Male | Straight | Alliance | Veteran Soldier/Alliance Federal Agent
Soryn isn't exactly what one thinks of when they think 'Federal Agent', or at least not what those outside of the Core Worlds. Though he's a Federal Agent, and therefore a strong, lifelong supporter of the Alliance, he's not actually that horrible of a guy. Unlike many of his station, Soryn has no hatred for those who would rather see the Alliance go away rather than accept its rule, nor does he see those on the Border worlds to be inbred yokels. He simply thinks that the Alliance has had horrible publicity in the past, but that its truly the best thing for everyone. As a result, he's not one to bust down your farmhouse door and demand to take everything you own simply because he can. As long as you treat him with respect, he'll treat you with respect in return.
No matter what world you come from, or what color you wore during the war.
-Friends-
Because Soryn isn't too much of a jackass, he's relatively easy to get along with. Its not too hard to strike up a friendship with him. All it really takes is the ability to overlook his zealous dedication to the Alliance and his habit for telling it exactly how it is, regardless of the consequences. Deal with these minor problems, and don't actively try to bring down the Alliance, and you pretty much have a ticket right into his good graces. Just.. try to keep your activities clean, as long as he's around. He's not going to throw you in prison because you littered, or you speak out against the Alliance... but he is a Fed, and there's only so much he can look the other way on.
-Enemies-
Soryn isn't one to actively create enemies, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have any. On the contrary, there are a legion of people who would love to see Soryn face down in a ditch, regardless of his opinion on them. Most of these men and women fought on the side of the Independents, and know Soryn's name from the reports both during the war and after, speaking of his various accomplishments. Soryn and his company were responsible for numerous dead and wounded Browncoats, and after overseeing the surrender of Independent forces at Serenity Valley on the orders of his commanding officer, its no wonder many former Independents want him dead, or worse. In order to have Soryn declare you his enemy, however, you have to work a bit harder. Keep trying to bring down the Alliance, and he'll have to take you down. He might not want to, but its in his code. Mess with the Alliance, you mess with the Hawke.
-Lovers-
Soryn hasn't exactly enjoyed many romantic relationships over the years. One night stands, and quick flings aside, the only real romantic attachment he's had in recent memory was with a fellow Alliance soldier during the war. Unfortunately for him, she was killed in action during the last acts of the fighting on Hera, one of the thousands slain attempting to take the Independent command center. Since her death, Soryn has kept his nose out of any long term relationships, not wanting to risk losing someone like he did that day, years ago. However, someday, someone might finally be able to get him to crack.
Good luck with that.
Citra Montenegro
Thirty | Female | Bisexual | Spacer | Pirate Captain
Citra, pirate Captain of Huntress, is one wanted lady. Ranked up there with the worst of them on the Alliance's Most Wanted List (last time she checked, she was somewhere near four or five... some doctor and his sister had kicked her down a few pegs), she's not exactly someone you want to meet in a dark alley. Especially if you happen to have a full wallet in your pocket. Deadly with a blade, deadly with a gun, and deadly with her hands, Citra's almost always just one insult from showing you just how she managed to climb her way to the top of the criminal food chain. However, she's not a psychopath. She can be reasoned with, or bargained with. In fact, that's exactly how she likes to get her business done. After all, a kill, while fun, is a messy little thing, and the Alliance tends to crack down harder on crime when someone comes away as a corpse.
Indeed, some might say Citra's greatest weapon is her talent at extortion, not a blade.
-Friends-
Considering the line of work Citra finds herself in, she isn't one to make too many friends out there in the Black. However, this doesn't mean its impossible. Play your cards right, and pay her and her own the respect she feels they are due, and you might find yourself actually considered a friend of Citra's. Of course, such a friendship does come with its ups and downs. You might be the friend of a scary woman who can kill your enemies without flinching, but when you're the friend of someone the Alliance would absolutely love to gut and leave rotting on top of a flagpole, you have a tendency to run into trouble you really didn't want to get in to.
-Enemies-
Citra... well... Okay, seriously, she's a pirate. It doesn't take a genius to know that a pirate is going to have enemies, and that they'll be legion. In fact, if you were to throw a stick into a room full of Core-dwellers, you'd probably be able to hit someone that would like nothing more then to string her up. As for how to actually become Citra's enemy? Act like an idiot, fly your ship through her hunting grounds, or badmouth her crew. You'll see how fast you'll get on her list of people who's lives need to become living hells.
-Lovers-
Ha. That's funny.
Wait, still reading? You sure? You really want to get with this? Yeah she's hot, but is it really worth- oh fine.
Citra's not really one for long term relationships. As for why, that should be a bit obvious. She's a pirate. Emotional relations such as that will just get in the way. What happens if she finds herself in a jam, and the only way out is to sacrifice a crewmember who she is in love with? What is she supposed to do there? Yeah, Citra prefers to keep that whole 'relationship' thing on a physical-only status. Of course, if you think you can change her mind on that matter, by all means, try. She isn't planning on going anywhere, so you have all the time in the world.
